Join our free clay hand-building workshop to make candle-holders for our Autumn equinox gathering
Throughout spring and summer, leaves catch the sun and store its energy for the earth. Long before we had walls, fire became our very first gathering place, giving us warmth, light, and a hearth to cook and share. We invite you to shape garden leaves into a candle holder for our upcoming Autumn equinox gathering. It’s an invitation to slow down, honor nature’s quiet gifts, and craft a nest of light to warm our community.
Led by designer Yuyu Lin and using rescued terracotta clay, this free pottery workshop welcomes anyone who wants to help craft pieces for our communal feast table. Your candle will take centre stage at our meal in September, then live on — reused and displayed at Cultivate Colindale.
