Across its 4,000m² site, Cultivate Colindale brings together gardens, creative spaces and cultural events centred on community growing, nature play, collaboration and creative reuse.
At its heart is the Wayward Plants Reuse Centre, a space for rescuing, propagating and exchanging plants and landscape materials, supporting communities across London that need them most.

Wayward Plants Reuse Centre
Wayward Plants is a pioneering circular landscape initiative and emerging charity that rescues surplus plants, trees and landscape materials and redistributes them to communities across London.
The Wayward Plants Reuse Centre at Cultivate Colindale is a hub for plant rescue, propagation and redistribution. It addresses both the nature gap, the unequal access to nature experienced by underserved communities, and the waste crisis, which sees vast quantities of valuable plants, trees and landscape materials discarded each year.
More than a materials yard and propagation centre, the Reuse Centre is a space for exchange, collaboration and experimentation, bringing together communities, practitioners and researchers through creative workshops, events and new approaches to landscape reuse.
