Disappearing Plants

As part of the Urban Tree Festival, join artist Becky Lyon for a creative and thought-provoking workshop exploring our relationship with plants and urban nature. Together, we will observe tree species on site before creating experimental, camera-free photographs using plant materials and photographic paper. As we watch the plants create their own impressions and gradually fade, we will reflect on nature connection and the need to take action to prevent biodiversity loss. This session is both playful and reflective, encouraging new ways of seeing and engaging with the natural world.

Becky Lyon is a local resident, as well as an artist, researcher, and London National Park City Ranger whose work explores ecology, sensory knowledge, and artist-led environmental practice through installations, interventions, and analogue media.
